I'm moving into a new rental, I signed up on Orcon's website on the 19th Nov for internet after they told me Fiber is available. So after checking the website yesterday the 20th it says that the "Scoping Date" date is tomorrow 22/11, so I pick the "evening" on their website.I phoned them today to ask what time I can expect the Chrous technician and they said between 12-5PM??? I picked evening thinking evening as in after 5PM which is what I would consider "Evening" as I work a 8AM-5PM job. I then get told that they need to actually install the Fiber connection? So I guess that was a misunderstanding on my part.To add insult to injury.. because my Fiber connection is to be installed on the 04/12/17 I do not qualify to have ADSL in the meanwhile as it is not a month or more wait, I mean come on that means I won't have internet for 8 days?Can an Orcon rep please see this and grant me ADSL for the 8 days please??
