I have noticed recently that my downloads have been slow. I usually get 1.2MB/s consistently but I now notice that it's often at exactly 500KB/s. I can fix it by restarting my router and off I go back at full speed. A quick google of 'orcon speed limit 500kb/s' lists this as a problem going back years. Is this something they actively do? I am on the 200GB plan and over the last few days I have not been approaching the kind of data usage that would eat through 200GB so why the speed throttle? It's as if sometime overnight the throttle goes on and I would be stuck with that if I did not reset?
